Samsung has halted production of its popular Galaxy Note 7 smartphone after reports of overheating and battery catching fire. Samsung issued recall after there were reports about battery issue and asked people to return their smartphones for replacement with newer units. However, the newer units have also been reported to face similar issues. As per South Korea-based Yonhap News Agency, Samsung has stopped production of Galaxy Note 7 units.
