Morse Code Resembling Dark Dune Patterns Discovered On Mars

Mars has been found to be home to a bizarre field of dark dunes that dissonantly resemble the dots and dashes that form Morse code. The discovery was made by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). While, the pictures of the field had been taken earlier also, the most recent ones taken on February 6, 2016 reveal a more comprehensive picture, which enables researchers for the first time to translate the message.

The University of Texas researchers performed a comprehensive review of the vocal organs of birds and the types of sounds made by them. Thereafter, they matched those with the vocal organs existed in fossilized dinosaurs for a paper to be published next month in Evolution.

Chris Blankenship, head of the Alabama Division of Marine Resources said that the several dozen sharks discovered washed up on Mobile Bay’s western shore have apparently been killed in a gill net.

The Dauphin Island Sea Lab scientists recognized the sharks as young-of-the-year juvenile bull sharks, which are extremely common in Mobile Bay, one of the most significant shark nursery areas in the Gulf.
