The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will not launch a deep space crewed mission in near future, but its new travel posters may leave you longing for a space journey.

The travel posters, commissioned by Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) of NASA, were designed for the center’s 2016 ‘Visions of the Future’ calendar. Designer at the JPL created eight prints of the calendar, while Seattle-based graphic design studio, Invisible Creature, designed three prints.

Astronomers have captured a stunning image of a newborn star that is situated nearly 500 light-years away from Earth in the southern part of the so-called Chamaeleon Complex.

The newly formed star dubbed HD 97300 has been located in the nebula known as IC 2631, the brightest of such structures in the Chamaeleon Complex of stellar nurseries. The newborn star was seen lighting up its surrounding cosmic clouds made up of cosmic gas and dust particles.

Researchers from the University of Freiburg in Germany and Queen Mary University of London studied a species of cyanobacteria, and found that the ability to see goes beyond just a vague sense of where the light is, and allows the miniscule one-celled organisms to find the right spot.
