The 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend Begins Soon in Los Angeles

Fans of the NBA have watched exciting basketball games all year. Those that will be in the Los Angeles area this weekend have a chance to attend the highly-anticipated 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend. One of the biggest events taking place during this weekend is called the NBA Crossover experience. This innovative experience allows people to see what its like to live like and play alongside some of the biggest names in the NBA. Those living in and around the Los Angeles should know all of the fun-filled activities planned for the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend.

On Friday morning, fans will be able to pay a small ticket fee in order to attend the KickStart Rising Stars Practice. During this practice, some of the most popular upcoming NBA stars get to practice before Sunday night's big game begins. The first night of this weekend culminates with a Celebrity All-Star Game. The Los Angeles Daily News reports that this event will feature big names including Justin Bieber and Jaime Foxx.

Saturday begins with many media events that will now be completely open to fans. In the past, these media events were only for news reporters and their co-workers. Many NBA fans are excited for one of the most popular parts of the NBA All-Star Weekend, the Slam Dunk Contest. This contest features four players who are among some of the best in the NBA.

The major event that everyone will be talking about Sunday is the official 2018 NBA All-Star Game. Fans were able to pick the 10 players on each team that will be led by LeBron James and Stephen Curry. As these two team leaders compete, only one team will be crowned the champions of the 2018 NBA All-Star Game. Team LeBron features players including Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, and Victor Oladipo. Team Stephen features other incredible athletes including Draymond Green, James Harden, and Kyle Lowry.

To summarize, the upcoming 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend is set to place in Los Angeles within a few days. This weekend will see fans, celebrities, and NBA athletes come together for three days filled with fun and all kinds of sporting events. The All-Star Game this year is between Team LeBron and Team Stephen and will take place on Sunday, February 18th.
