Samsung launches three new ads to promote Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus

South Korea-based electronics giant Samsung has just launched three new video adverts to promote its newest pair of Android-powered flagship smartphones, viz. the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus.

The new video ads promoting the Galaxy S8 lineup are part of the “Unbox your phone” campaign that the electronics giant began on 29th of March after the official unveiling of the new handsets.

However, the three promotional videos, titled Astronaut, Whale and Lantern, are not specifically focused on advertising a smartphone as much as they are attempting to advertise a lifestyle that the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus can be a part of.

The Galaxy S8 Plus features a 6.2 inch display without any side bezels, Gorilla Glass 5, fast wireless charging, in addition to several security options, such as password, facial recognition, PIN, fingerprint, and iris scanning.

Reports from Samsung have suggested that that company has already pre-sold more than 728,000 units of its new flagships.

Industry experts believe that Samsung is already recovering from the Galaxy Note 7 debacle, and its new flagships will likely play a key role in that process. Anything short of a huge commercial success of the new handsets would thus be a surprise.
