Images of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus prototype featuring a dual camera setup on its rear has re-surfaced on the web.
While the quality of images originally surfaced earlier this month were not good, the new images are particularly clear, showing the smartphone with a dual camera setup on its back. The new images show the handset’s heart rate sensor as well as an LED flash located below the dual camera setup.
The two cameras are not pushed to the side. Instead, they are aligned perpendicularly and are centered in the middle.
Reports from the Korean electronics giant have indicated that it has already pre-sold more than 728,000 units of the new smartphone.
The Galaxy S8 Plus boats a 6.2 inch display with no side bezels, Gorilla Glass 5, fast wireless charging, along with multiple security options, including facial recognition, password, PIN, fingerprint, and iris scanning.
The Galaxy S8 Plus would be more interesting to buyers if it comes equipped with a dual camera setup. But, some experts are of the view that Samsung will likely have to wait until at least next-gen Galaxy S devices to introduce something like that.
