The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro, the harmonizing brother of the Galaxy C7 Pro, is finally official as the South-Korean electronics giant has just launched the mid-range smartphone in China.
While the Galaxy C7 Pro smartphone was officially unveiled around a couple of months ago the world’s most populous nation, the mid-range Galaxy C5 Pro was kept secret until its recent release. However, various leaked reports kept making indications about the features of the new device.
The C5 Pro features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen, a 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 64 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM, along with a 2,600 mAh battery.
The list of its other important features includes a 16 MP f/1.9 photo snapper on the front and a similar camera on its rear. Both cameras can record videos at FHD resolution at thirty frames per second.
Users of the new device, which is available in three color options, viz. powder rose, lake blue and maple leaf, will also get a fingerprint sensor that is embedded on the device’s front home button.
Samsung has yet to release the precise price tag for the new smartphone, though some reports suggested that the device will be available for around CNY 2,499 (Rs 24,900).
