Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus Start Getting Android Nougat Update

Motorola Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus have started receiving Android Nougat update in India. Motorola informed that users will soon start receiving notification regarding the update on their smartphone. Users who have not received the message or might have missed it, can access it using Settings > About Phone >> System Updates.

The update can take up to 20 minutes to install. Also, the update should be downloaded only in case users are connected to Wi-Fi network as Wi-Fi connections are faster and stable compared to normal 3G or 4G connections.

Android Nougat offers more control over notifications, better battery performance and new multitasking capabilities. Google has improved many features in the latest Android operating system.

Moto G4 Plus was launched in May and the company offered the smartphone with Android 6.0.1 installed. With the latest update, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus users will get the best features offered by Android operating system.

A report published by NORCAL informed that many other smartphone providers have also started offering the update for Android Nougat (7.0 version of Android Mobile operating system).
