Tim Cook talks about Apple’s AirPods in interview to be aired on Sept. 14

On Wednesday, September 14, 2016, the Good Morning America show will air a "wide-ranging and exclusive” interview with Apple CEO Tim Cook. In the interview, recorded at a school in Harlem in New York City, Cook will talk to Robin Roberts about AirPods and other Apple products.

The interview to be aired by Good Morning America is apparently the first interview granted by Cook after Apple’s September 7 product launch event, at which the company unveiled its new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus handsets, and launched iOS 10, watchOS 3, and tvOS 10.

One of the key focus points of the interview will be Apple's new AirPods wireless headphones. Cook will evidently talk about the AirPods, as well as assuage concerns that the wireless headphones will be easy to lose, and may fall out of the users’ ears during vigorous workouts.

Cook will talk about the AirPods wireless headphones in response to a disclosure by Roberts that ABC News correspondent Michael Strahan – a former professional football player – feels that he would probably lose his pair of AirPods in short order.

In an attempt to alleviate consumer fears about the possibility of losing or dropping the AirPods, Cook said: "I've been on treadmills, walking, doing all the things you normally do. You know how you walk around with the earbuds and they're constantly getting caught on something? You never have that problem."
