In a recent announcement, Razer unveiled its all-new line of gaming keyboards called 'Ornata' keyboards, which boast the inclusion of the company's new 'Mecha-Membrane' technology.
With the 'Mecha-Membrane' technology built into the new Razer Ornata keyboards, it is apparent that the keyboards amalgamate mechanical and membrane technologies. As such, the new keyboards are essentially a cross between the comfort-centric membrane rubber dome design and the technology which powers mechanical keyboards that give the gamers a unique tactile feedback and faster actuations.
About the Razer 'Mecha-Membrane' technology incorporated in the new Ornata gaming keyboards, Min-Liang Tan - co-founder and CEO of Razer - said that the technology is "the result of years of research and development that we've dedicated to build the best keyboards for gamers."
In announcing the new line of Ornata gaming keyboards, Razer said that the lineup comprises two Ornata models --- the Razer Ornata and the Razer Ornata Chroma, which are respectively priced at $80 and $100.
Razer also said that both the Razer Ornata and the Razer Ornata Chroma gaming keyboards are now available for preorder from the company's online store. Both the keyboards are scheduled to hit retail stores worldwide by October.
